Although, it has a reputation of being expensive city. You can still enjoy your visit when your on a tight budget like me.

I’ve been to Stockholm, Sweden last November2016. Winterfeels I know 😀 I really had a good impression to swedish people because I’ve known one, who is very loving, kind, down-to-earth and beautiful swedish woman.

So, after a couple of weeks of planning for this weekend trip, We finally made it and  It goes like this….

How I get there: Copenhagen-Stockholm by Train (ACPRail) which cost 49Euro                                                   Stockholm-Copenhagen by Bus (Flixbus) which cost 22Euro

*BudgetTip: It’s better to take Train or Bus to get there to avoid the transfer fee which is cost around 15euro again for you to get to the City from Arlanda Airport or Booking ahead of time is also a good idea.

Where do I stay: Old Town Lodge from Booking.com which cost us 557Sek  Breakfast already included. It is located at Baggensgatan25, Gamla stan 11131 Stockholm and because it is just located at the Old Town, we just walked from the stockholm central station to get there.

*BudgetTip: Bring your own Towel and Sheets to avoid extra charge.

What we did:

First Day

  • Touring around Old Town (Gamla Stan)
  • Visit Stockholm Cathedral
  • Buy Souvenirs
  • Ice Skate at Kungstradgarden
  • Try their Glogg (mulled wine) and Pepparkakor (swedish biscuit)

(I had some Photo’s below :))

Second/Last Day

  • Join Free Walking Tour17523113_1308164409231322_234700601791513714_n
  • Watch the changing of guards at The Royal Palace

*The weather gets worst because of the snow so we didn’t do that much and all the museums gets closed early.

The Struggle is Real 😀

Eventhough it’s a tough visit due to weather condition, I still enjoyed my visit to Stockholm. It amazed me in it’s own way.

There are still some things that is best captured by our own eyes.

I still want to get back to Sweden to see the other side of it especially when Spring or Summer.

Here are some link for more info about Sweden and the Official Guide in Stockholm

Want to share your own experience after visiting Sweden? I would love to hear it. Share it with me in my comment box.

Thanks for reading guys.

Anika’s Review: Youtheory Collagen Advanced Formula

Hi Guys,

I’m back for my first review regarding this Youtheory Collagen. A good friend of mine encouraged me to try this one, She’s been using this product for a year already and had a good effect on her. I cannot say it will do the same effect to me, that’s why I am giving myself a try and  because I am really looking for a good collagen to drink and include on my daily routine.

At the side of the packaging it says:

17634716_1305725716141858_798983302640628673_n

I am more into repairing my bone or as it says the tendons & ligaments, secondly on my skin, hair and nails. who wouldn’t want a good skin, shiny hair and healthy nails perhaps everyone would love too.

HOW LONG I’VE BEEN USING IT:  1month and 6days to be exact and still a lot of pills left in the bottle.

HOW I TAKE IT:  3 tablets in the morning usually after breakfast and 3 tablets again before bedtime.

Pro: I can already feel the effect on my skin and noticed a much shiny hair of mine.

Cons: This cons is actually fine with me, but for those who is not fond of drinking a lot of tablets at the same time. They will be having a hard time for this. Take note that each tablet is quite big also.

Where I buy it: I bought it online dk.iHerb.com for 129.39DKK

SHOULD I STILL BUY AGAIN: Yes! As I research about collagen drinks it really takes some time to see the effect of it, so you really need to take it for several months.

Have you also try it for yourself? or Are you drinking other kinds of collagen? I would love to hear some advice also. Just comment down below. Thanks!

Life away from Home

It’s been a year since I left home.

This was my second time, but everything feels the same.

Excited for the new adventures, Motivated for planning my future ahead, Sad for leaving everything back home like Family, Loved one, Life that I used to lived, and the Scary feeling of thinking “What will be going to happen?” “Am I going to be surrounded by good people while staying there? and a lot more questions running on my mind.

I used to Live in Amsterdam for a year already, came back home and flew back again here in Denmark. Let’s take it a fact that It’s not everyone can have a chance to travel or live in Europe, when you can experience a lot of things, The rich culture they had, Those famous Monuments they had (Eiffel tower, The Colosseum, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Sagrada Familia, Arc de Triumph and a lot more) which  is located in different countries in Europe, The four seasons they had (spring, summer, autumn and winter) which we definitely don’t have in The Philippines and For that I feel Blessed and forever be Grateful, It is definitely a Dream come True.

(photo below was my anniversary party last 11th of March, celebrating it with good friends of mine and yes! I’ve got a friends here)            17425843_1295589040488859_142552281764142188_n

When you’re away from home, a lot of adjustment you need to keep in mind.

The Time differences you had,

The language that you need to learn and adapt, like by saying No/Nej or Yes/Ja some basics  like Thank You or Sorry would be great, but ofcourse everyone can speak in English, Sometimes it’s not fluent but as long as the thought is there, it’s fine.

The Weather, how can I forget about it. It was one of my struggle at first hahahahh coming from a warm country moving to a windy/cold one is definitely a struggle, but believe it or not I am Enjoying every season. The smell of the blossoming flowers on Spring, The splash on the ocean, picnics and barbecues during Summer Heat, Those fallen leaves at the woods, along the street and sometimes just at the neighbours place in Autumn and The cold breeze and snow during Winter. I appreciate every little things in Life because if you didn’t,  Life will always be miserable for you. I remember my Brother (who encouraged me more to make this Blog for real – ThankYou Kuya!) when He said that Life is A Choice. Whether you did it for your own sake or for others, Whether you choose to be sad or happy, Whether you live your Life to the fullest or not, It will always Be your Choice.

Life away from Home. It wasn’t easy as It should be.

There are times you will feel alone, feeling rejected, badly missing home or Homesick, getting tired of all the work loads, wanted a Hug from mom/dad, feeling sad for not being there at a friends wedding, christening of niece nephew, family reunions, celebrating birthdays, Christmas and new year with your family and those days when you feel you had nothing but Yourself.

But In time everything  will be pay off. We are all going Back Home, I am going back Home with all the new Lessons that I learn, Experiences that  I had, Good or Bad and Memories that will be last forever and for Making myself a stronger and wiser woman that I should be.

Cheers to all the Independent woman all over the world!
